Katie is a Provisional Psychologist providing therapeutic services for adolescents and adults.
Katie believes in the strength of a strong therapeutic relationship and, therefore, focuses on providing a safe and non-judgmental environment through authenticity and empathy. Moreover, she works collaboratively with each client to meet their specific needs through an integrative approach that incorporates the following therapeutic modalities: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Mindfulness.
Katie has a special interest in working with clients who are experiencing symptoms of depression and anxiety, which often result from negative experiences, such as neglect, abuse, and operational stress injuries. In this regard, Katie specializes in the treatment of complex trauma and PTSD.
